Online Event Organizer


SideKick is looking for a tech-savvy online event organizer who can assist our clients in planning and executing their online events to the highest standard.

SideKick ( is a Bangkok-based creative and media agency for social change. We research, identify, and develop innovative media solutions to engage and mobilize individuals, communities, and society on the region’s most pressing issues.

The selected candidate will assist our clients in planning and executing their online events. You will be working with multiple online event platforms and technological setups to ensure clients’ events are executed cleanly and to the client’s expectations. You will also maintain communication with the internal team and clients to ensure all the preparation is in place prior to the event. 

English language proficiency is a must as we mainly cater to oversea clients, and the candidate must be able to utilize and adapt various technological equipment and platforms at hand to ensure smooth execution of clients’ events. The ideal candidate must also have a proven track record of handling and dealing with senior client contacts.


  • Assist clients in planning and executing online events

  • Be responsible for the clean technical execution of the overall look of online events

  • Communicate with clients to ensure they have the correct technological setup (mic, camera) and test internet connectivity

  • Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning, including calendering, internal training, pre-event rehearsals, and setups

  • Develop materials such as run of show, checklist, relevant graphics, and slides to support clients’ hosts, speakers, and staff

  • Provide expertise and training to clients when needed to support projects, including but not limited to Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.

  • Provide technical support during the events (such as but not limited to camera switching, recording, live streaming, and presentation)

  • Set up necessary technological systems to facilitate clients’ events with appropriate backup in case of unexpected problems

  • Troubleshoot and solve any technical issues that arise during online events


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • A proven track record of handling and dealing with senior client contacts

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to set up appropriate technological systems for facilitating clients’ events

  • Able to cope and react appropriately in the face of technological or logistical challenges during a ‘live’ event

  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work

  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner

  • Excellent facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels

  • Must have sound knowledge and skills in utilizing technological equipment and digital event platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Team
