Position: Video Editor - Paid Internship

Over the past decade, we have engaged in diverse initiatives across Thailand and Southeast Asia, working directly with policymakers and leveraging data-driven insights to ensure public needs and interests are met.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video editing and content creation for social media. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using their skills to produce high-quality video content that supports our social good projects and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit video content for various platforms, including social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging video concepts and storyboards.
Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Enhance video content with graphics, text, animations, and other visual elements.
Assist in producing short clips, reels, and promotional videos to support marketing campaigns.
Ensure all video content aligns with Sidekick’s brand guidelines and project goals.
Work with the team to review and incorporate feedback on video edits.
Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Filmora, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Basic knowledge of graphic design and animation tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
