Freelance Social Impact Writer

 

We are Sidekick (www.sidekick.asia), a social change agency based in Bangkok (GMT+7). We are currently looking for freelance Social Impact Writers to develop written content for our clients that work to improve the lives of people throughout the region, focusing on gender rights, health, education, safety, environment etc.

 

Qualifications

• A background in Journalism covering social/political beats or work experience in corporate communications 

• Writing experience on social issues for Non-Profit Organizations, UN agencies or Social Impact projects 

• Able to break down complex topics into a simple, creative and engaging piece for the general audience

• Able to understand the clients’ needs

• Passion for the written word

• Excellent command of English – verbal and written

 

As a Social Impact Writer, you will

• Write engaging content in the form of blogs, press releases, articles, etc., on social issues to be published on websites, social media pages and similar platforms
